LAUNCH EVENT:  The Policy Network

Venue and booking details here

Come to this launch meeting, share your ideas and interests and help shape this developing project, its events, its resources and program of activities.

Engaging with policy issues would be important in "normal" times, but under the Trump administration, staying engaged and  vigilant  has never felt more important.
While the media focuses on his twitter storms, damaging  actions  and policies on voting rights, the environment, on key civil rights, on employment, on healthcare, taxation, financial regulation are in danger of slipping under the radar.

Do you want a chance to network with other DAUK members who are interested in addressing these vital policy issues, both current and longer term?

Meet and join our lively teams working on Voting Rights, Healthcare Reform, Minority Rights, Economic Issues, Environment and Energy Issues.

At this launch meeting, you can find out what each group is doing or settle down in one of the groups to discuss and plan with others.

  •  Summarize work done by DA Taxation Task Force to date
  •  Discuss how to include existing committees in DAUK where remit potentially overlaps
  •  Brainstorm actions DAUK can take to assist DA in Washington during reform negotiations
If you are unable to attend, please emailvolunteers@democratsabroad.org.uk to be added to the mailing list to keep up to date with the actions from this task force.
